My Services
I offer a range of services to support families during pregnancy, birth and once babies arrive, including ante-natal and birth preparation, hypnobirthing, birth support, post-natal support and night nannying. I am now also offering pregnancy, birth and newborn/postnatal photography - this can either be as part of a doula package or as a standalone service.
I enjoy working with other local doulas in Shared Care or back-up arrangements and always have a ‘back-up doula’ in place. I serve all over London and the surrounding areas, including but not limited to Hackney, Islington, Haringey, Camden, City of London, Walthamstow, Leyton, Wansted, Tower Hamlets and Newham. I’m a few minutes walk from Homerton Hospital and, if needed and possible, I can be there at short notice.
I am very happy to agree payment plans, sliding scale fees and bespoke packages for those who have limited means - please don’t hesitate to ask. For those who are going through or have gone through fertility treatment, including surrogacy, and/or experienced loss, I would be more than happy to discuss any additional support that might be helpful.
I aim to provide inclusive support for all and welcome all types of family units and backgrounds, including and not limited to the LGBTQI+ community, those with neurodivergence and all minority ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds or otherwise.

‘Whatever You Need’ Private Birth Preparation
Ad hoc one-to-one birth preparation and/or hypnobirthing at your home or via Zoom - £60 per hour
These sessions will focus on whatever it is that you need to focus on in the lead up to your birth and additional sessions can be agreed as needed. Two hour sessions are recommended but are not a requirement. The sessions include:
Being available to you to provide support by phone during our time working together - this includes having a WhatsApp group with you and any birth partner to share birth videos, audio relaxations/affirmations and birth, baby-feeding and baby-wearing resources etc, and generally being around for any queries that arise.
Lending of any relevant books, TENS machine, birthing ball and/or birthing pool (depending on availability).
Private Hypnobirthing and Birth Preparation Course
This hypnobirthing course provides all you need to prepare for birth, as well as spending time to focus on the postnatal period. 'Hypnobirthing' is in essence about understanding the physiology of birth and how to approach it calmly and confidently in tune with your body and baby. By understanding physiological birth, we can begin to dispel fear around it and learn how to experience the intensity of it in a manageable way. The use of breathing and relaxation techniques combined with a deeper understanding and respect for the natural birth process, can have a profound and positive impact. All birth is different, and no type of birth is better than the other - it is all sacred and momentous. However, how we experience our birth is key and can have long-term implications for us and our babies. As our experience is shaped by our mental state, including whether we feel informed and respected, it is worth taking the time to prepare and to understand the benefits, risks and alternatives to all decisions.
The aim of this course to provide you with the tools you need to positively prepare for your birth; this could be natural, with pharmaceutical forms of pain relief or an abdominal birth. We discuss all these plus risk-factors, inductions and interventions, choice of birthplace, the role of the birth partner, baby-feeding, baby-wearing and safe-sleeping (and much more!), so that you leave with the confidence to make decisions that you feel are best for you and your baby.
My private ante-natal course at your home is £500 and includes:
4 in-depth ante-natal meetings of approximately 2 hours each with you and any birth partner to prepare for birth (this includes full hypnobirthing/birth preparation teaching, access to audio relaxations and affirmations, birth aromatherapy tips and birth plan preparation). A post-natal planning session to prepare for life after birth and discuss baby-feeding, baby-wearing, baby-sleep etc.
Being available to you to provide support by phone during our time working together - this includes having a WhatsApp group with you and any birth partner to share birth videos and birth, baby-feeding and baby-wearing resources etc, and generally being around for any queries that arise.
Lending of any relevant books, TENS machine, birthing ball and/or birthing pool (depending on availability).
Birth Doula Package
My standard birth package is a fixed rate of £1950 to include:
4 in-depth ante-natal meetings of approximately 2 hours each with you and any birth partner to prepare for birth (this includes full hypnobirthing/birth preparation teaching, access to audio relaxations and affirmations, birth aromatherapy tips and birth plan preparation). This includes a post-natal planning session to prepare for life after birth and discuss baby-feeding, baby-wearing, baby-sleep etc.
Being available to you to provide support by phone during our time working together - this includes having a WhatsApp group with you and any birth partner to share birth videos and birth, baby-feeding and baby-wearing resources etc, and generally being around for any queries that arise.
A couple (time allowing) of casual meet-ups (walks, coffees etc).
Lending of any relevant books, TENS machine, birthing ball and/or birthing pool (depending on availability).
Being ‘on call’ 24 hours a day for the 2 weeks prior to your anticipated due date until the birth of your baby.
Attending your birth from whenever you need me and staying with you until you are ready for me to leave you and your new family.
Providing aromatherapy support during labour.
1 post-natal visit to debrief after the birth and provide practical support (plus some homemade post-birth snacks 😊).
Bespoke Doula Package
If the above package isn’t quite what you are looking for, then I am also happy to be flexible, as I know people’s needs vary. For example, some people like to agree packages that include additional ante-natal or post-natal support – if this is you or your birth is fast-approaching or you don’t feel you need the level of support offered, then please just let me know and we can create a bespoke package that fits with your and your family’s needs.
Post-Partum Doula Rates
The standard ad hoc hourly rate for post-natal support is £26 per hour and the minimum booking time for a visit would be 2 hours. I do not charge for travel time unless the journey is over 30 minutes distance.
As a post-natal doula I provide you with a range of different types of support in the hours, days and weeks after birth, all based around your specific needs. This could be helping to care for your baby while you rest/shower/eat, supporting you in caring for your baby, supporting baby-feeding of all types (breast-feeding/bottle-feeding etc), preparing drinks/food/snacks for you, being someone to talk to and/or debriefing your birth, assisting with light chores around the house or running errands, signposting you to other specialists (lactation consultants and clinics, osteopaths, physiotherapists, baby-wearing and sleep consultants etc) as needed…the list goes on and I am always open to discuss any specific needs or requests.
I offer a post-natal planning session (1 to 2 hours as needed at the hourly rate) prior to birth because I believe it can make all the difference to think about everything deeply as a couple and it also gives a chance for us to get to know each other before providing support. This can be booked as a no obligation session or as part of a post-natal package.
I offer the following post-natal packages which all include a post-natal planning session prior to birth:
6 hours - £150
12 hours - £295
24 hours - £580
In terms of how the post-natal package hours are divided, I am pretty flexible depending on my personal and professional commitments. Most sessions last between 2 to 3 hours, depending on what you need. The most important thing is that you feel that you are getting the support that you need when you need it, and that is likely to change in the hours, days and weeks post-birth. One of the big aims of me being there is really for you not to need me anymore by the time we say goodbye!
Nightnannying/Overnight Support
I also do the occasional night nannying/overnight support, depending on whether I am on call for births. This involves me staying the night at your home and looking after your baby overnight while you have some much-needed sleep. The standard cost is £180 and the standard hours are 9pm until 7am but different timing can potentially be agreed.
